中国共产党解决民族问题的成功实践离不开马克思主义方法论的指导。新时代解决中国特色民族问题必须坚持历史性方法论,尊重民族和民族问题的历史性和规律性,正确看待民族与民族问题的历史同一性、历史延续性,坚持实事求是,反对用"异想天开""操之过急"的简单极端方式去认识和解决民族问题。坚持实践性方法论要求从客观实际出发,实事求是地分析和解决所处历史时期的民族问题,坚持实现合规律性与合目的性的统一,立足基本国情,坚持以人民为中心,始终把促进各族人民的发展作为解决民族问题的核心。坚持总体性方法论要求正确把握民族问题与社会问题的辩证关系,在建设中国特色社会主义伟大事业的全局中统筹推进,坚持党的全面领导,夯实思想基础、物质基础、制度保障,系统解决中国特色民族问题。

The successful practice of the Communist Party of China in settling ethnic issues cannot be separated from the guidance of Marxist methodology.In the new era,to settle the ethnic issues with Chinese characteristics,we must adhere to the historical methodology,respect the historical nature and regularity of ethnic groups and ethnic issues,correctly handle the historical identity and historical continuity of ethnic groups and ethnic issues in the process of natural history,adhere to seeking truth from facts,oppose the over simplified and extreme methods of"indulging in the wildest fantasy"and"acting with undue haste"in understanding and settling ethnic issues.As for the ethnic issues in this historical period,we should adhere to the practical methodology,start with the actual situations,analyze and settling the issues by seeking truth from facts,persist in achieving the integration of the regularity and purposes,base the issues on the basic national conditions,adhere to the people-centered philosophy,and always regard promoting the development of ethnic groups as the core to settle ethnic issues.To adhere to the overall methodology,we should correctly grasp the dialectical relationship of ethnic issues and social issues,coordinately promote the work by taking into consideration the overall situation of the great cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics,uphold the overall Party leadership,consolidate the ideological foundations,material foundations and institutional guarantees,and systematically settle the ethnic issues with Chinese characteristics.
