The Development of Taizhou’s Import and Export Enterprises Against the Background of the Spread of Covid-19 Pandemic and Trade Friction

在新冠肺炎疫情全球蔓延、贸易摩擦加剧的背景下,泰州外贸企业进出口总额整体下滑,内需不足和资金支持不够、生产模式粗放、潜在生产率低、生产成本高等是泰州进出口企业面临的主要困境。为走出困境,泰州进出口企业可从以下几方面寻求发展:顺应国际国内“双循环”经济发展大势;贯彻“六保六稳”,进一步强化地方财政金融支持力度;坚持短长线相结合,加快转型升级,提升竞争力;适应新商业模式,以跨境电商和数字渠道赋能外贸增长。

The spread of Covid-19 pandemic as well as the growth of trade friction have led to the struggle of global trade.Foreign trade enterprises in Taizhou,with a decline in the total value of their import and export,are confronted with the problems of insufficient domestic demand,inadequate money support,inefficient and unsustainable manufacturing,and potential circumstances of low productivity with high costs.To seek development,they should make efforts to advance with the economic development of“dual circulation”,implement“stability on the six fronts and security in the six areas”by further increasing local fiscal and financial support,stand firm in combining short-term and long-term development to speed up transformation and upgrading and enhance competitiveness as well,and adapt to the new business mode so as to empower the increase in foreign trade through cross-border e-commerce and digital channels.
