The necessity of establishing Marxist ecological aesthetics is manifested in the need of the transformation of contemporary civilization and the internal theoretical requirements of China’s promotion of ecological progress.It is also a Chinese-style academic response to the theory of“environmental transformation”in contemporary Western scholarship,and an effort to rebuild the harmonious aesthetic relationship between human and nature.The establishment of Marxist ecological aesthetics meets the theoretical needs of the development in the New Era,which is to cooperate with other disciplines to explore and solve many complex problems faced by contemporary human beings,and to focus on the aesthetic theoretical discourse to answer and solve the contemporary natural ecological crisis and spiritual ecological problems faced by human beings.In view of this,the establishment of Marxist ecological aesthetics is undoubtedly of great academic and theoretical value and era significance.
