Opportunities and Challenges for Promoting the Integration of Urban and Rural Education

在全面推进城乡教育一体化发展进程中,国家积极调整政策加大教育经费投入,地方政府因地制宜制定当地发展规划和目标,为城乡教育一体化发展带来历史性机遇。但是,针对一体化建设中存在的生源流失、教育教学资源分配不均、师资力量存在差距等问题,要坚持贯彻新发展理念,就地实现城镇化,坚持"乡村优先"原则,均衡配置教学资源,坚持灵活性原则,革新和完善教师队伍,稳步推进城乡教育一体化发展。

In the process of promoting the integration of urban and rural education,the state actively adjusts the funding system to increase the investment in education funds,and the local governments formulate local development plans and objectives according to local conditions,which bring historical opportunities for the development of urban-rural education integration.However,in view of the problems existing in the integration construction,such as the loss of students,uneven distribution of educational and teaching resources and the gap in the teaching force,we should adhere to the principles of the new development,"rural priority"and flexibility to realize urbanization on the spot,allocate teaching resources evenly and innovate and improve the teachers’team,steadily promoting the integration of urban and rural education.
