Life Philosophy and Artificial Intelligence

人类的发展存在一个从原始意识过渡到数理思辨的过程,也存在一个哲学上的单子论理想到科学数列的复杂性的过渡。人工智能的进化正代表着这种数理逻辑的跃升,哲学所一直关注的生命如何被创造的问题,已经为今日的人工智能提供了启示。人类在创造智能技术的同时,不可避免地要考量它可能具有的技术和伦理的形态。哲学和技术所关注的焦点,都在于人工智能是否能具备生命。其中最大的争议在于生命的两个基本特征:意向性和主体性。如果不能满足这两点,这个技术的雏儿仍可能只是人类生命的延伸。但如果我们愿意跳出传统认知,从另一个角度审视,也可能人工智能具备的是与我们全然不同的生命形态。

The development of mankind has a transition from primitive consciousness to mathematical speculation,which is also the transition from the ideal of monadism in philosophy to the complexity of the scientific tree.The evolu-tion of artificial intelligence represents this leap in mathematical logic.The question of how life is created,which phi-losophy has always paid attention to,has provided enlightenment on today's artificial intelligence.While creating intel-ligent technology,we inevitably have to consider the technical and ethical forms it may have.The focus of philosophy and technology is whether artificial intelligence can have life.The biggest controversy lies in the two basic characteris-tics of life:intentionality and subjectivity.If these two points are not met,the young child of this technology may still be an extension of human life.However,if we are willing to jump out of traditional cognition and look at it from another angle,it is also possible that artificial intelligence has a completely different life form ours.
