Analysis on the legalization of euthanasia in China

上世纪80年代在我国陕西省汉中市发生的安乐死事件,引发了一场轰动全国的安乐死合法化问题的大讨论,这是我国首次关于安乐死问题的思想启蒙。此后,安乐死事件屡发,其合法化问题一直争议不断。结合近年来身患绝症人数逐年增加的权威统计数据,以及我国逐渐步入老龄化社会的现实,探讨安乐死在我国的合法化,以期对安乐死在我国的合法化问题提供有益探索。

The euthanasia incident happened in Hanzhong City,Shaanxi Province in the 1980s,which triggered a nationwide discussion on the legalization of euthanasia,which was the first ideological enlightenment on euthanasia in China.Since then,euthanasia has occurred frequently,and its legalization has been controversial.Based on the authoritative statistical data of the increasing number of incurable diseases in recent years,and the reality that China is gradually stepping into an aging society,the author discussed the legalizing euthanasia in China,so as to provide useful exploration for the legalization of euthanasia in China.
