论严歌苓作品中女性跨国婚姻的多重悲剧——评《红罗裙》《约会》与《少女小渔》

On the Multiple Tragedies of Women’s Transnational Marriage in Yan Geling’s Works--On“The Red Dress”,“Dating”,and“Xiaoyu”

移民女作家严歌苓一生命运多舛,其移民海外的经历为她的创作生涯提供了多种素材。严歌苓的文学作品大多数以悲剧为主,主要人物甚至次要人物也是披着"悲剧的外衣"出场,然后又在"未知的悲剧"中离去。在严歌苓的作品中,"爱情"和婚姻给人物带来的后果更是难以想象,其中《红罗裙》《约会》和《少女小渔》的悲剧都是由老夫少妻的婚姻生活开始的。三部作品中的女性均以移民身份寄居国外,且没有经济基础和自我意识,在多重障碍交织下艰难的生存。

Yan Geling,an immigrant woman writer,suffered a lot in her life.Her experience of emigrating abroad provided her with a variety of materials for her writing career.Most of Yan Geling’s literary works are based on tragedy.The main characters and even the secondary characters appear in the“coat of tragedy”,and then leave in the“unknown tragedy”.In Yan Geling’s works,the consequences of“love”and marriage to the characters are even more unimaginable.The tragedies of“The Red Dress”,“Dating”and“Xiaoyu”all begin with the marriage life of old husband and young wife.The women in the three works all live abroad as immigrants,and they have no economic foundation and self-consciousness,and they are struggling to survive under multiple obstacles.
