重建“英国性”:20世纪80年代英国怀旧剧的政治文化分析——以BBC1980年版电视剧《傲慢与偏见》为例

Reconstructing the"Britishness":A Political and Cultural Analysis of 1980s'English Heritage Film--Take the BBC's 1980 Version of Pride and Prejudice as an Example

英国广播公司拍摄的1980年版电视剧《傲慢与偏见》,通常被认为是英国“国家怀旧剧”的开端,是密切配合撒切尔保守政府的一项重要文化举措。以1980年版《傲慢与偏见》为代表的国家怀旧剧着重从意识形态和文化两方面重建“英国性”,它所重建的“英国性”虽然有些失真,却积极带动了英国旅游业的发展,从而刺激了英国经济的复苏。这种拼贴的“英国性”的意义不在于真实记录历史,而是人在新的历史条件下的一种创作,是有其积极意义的。

BBC's 1980 version of Pride and Prejudice is considered a beginning of the"National heritage films"of England,which echoed a series of cultural policies from the Thatcher government.This paper firstly analyzed how the BBC's 1980 version of Pride and Prejudice reconstructed the Britishness from the ideological and cultural aspects.Secondly,although the reconstructed Britishness seemed to be distortion,it brought the development of English tourism and stimulated the economic recovery of England.Then,this paper discussed the meaning of pastiche of the reconstructed Britishness.Although it was not an authentic records of history,it was a creation in a new age.It was full of meaning.
