The V⁃Cone Flowmeter Application on the LNG Submerged Pump Discharge Line

液化天燃气(LNG)为无色、无味、无毒、无腐蚀性且不导电的液体,在常压下,沸点温度为-162℃。为了减少LNG储罐罐顶平台尺寸,降低项目成本及钢结构的安装难度,本文通过分析传统孔板流量计和V锥流量计的特性及应用,阐述了V锥流量计在LNG储罐潜液泵出口的流量测量方案及测量效果。

Liquefied natural gas(LNG)is clean energy which is non corrosive and non-conductive liquid without colour,odor,toxic.The boiling point of LNG is−162℃at normal pressure.In order to reduce the size of LNG tank roof platform,reduce the project cost and the installation difficulty of steel structure,this paper analyzes the characteristics and application of traditional orifice flowmeter and V-cone flowmeter,and expounds the flow measurement scheme and measurement effect of V-cone flowmeter at the discharge of submerged pump in LNG storage tank.
