The Criticism Context of “Sinicization” in Chinese Contemporary Art

随着全球化的不断深入,中国文化自主性的加强,中国当代艺术民族化、本土化、中国化的价值诉求日益强烈,中国当代艺术的“中国化”话语不断涌现,如“中国特色”“中国方式”“中国经验”“中国版本”“中国风格”“中国精神”,对其成因、内涵、问题等的分析,不仅有助于促进中国当代艺术文化与审美自觉走向深入,也有助于中国当代艺术批评话语权的提升,推进新时代中国特色当代艺术话语体系建设。

With the deepening of globalization and the strengthening of Chinese cultural autonomy,the demand for localization of Chinese contemporary art is becoming increasingly strong,and the discourses of“Sinicization”in Chinese contemporary art are emerging,such as“Chinese characteristics”,“Chinese way”,“Chinese experience”,“Chinese version”,“Chinese style”,“Chinese spirit”,etc.The analysis of their causes,connotations and problems is not only helpful to promote the deepening of Chinese contemporary art culture and aesthetic consciousness,but also conducive to promote the discourse power of Chinese contemporary art criticism and the construction of contemporary art discourse system with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
