弥尔顿研究代表性文献评述

A Critical Summary of Representative Works in Milton Studies

弥尔顿研究历史悠久,近年来仍不断有力作问世,呈现出新的阐释空间。本文结合国内外研究传统与现状,分别就弥尔顿代表性版本和译本、国外研究文献、国内研究文献、世界传播史、中国传播史五个方面进行综合评骘,细数其中得失。评述试图于时间向度呈现弥尔顿批评传统的主要发展脉络,于空间维度覆盖国内及全球弥尔顿研究的最新成果。最后,基于综合评述指出未来的方向,致力于开拓国内的弥尔顿版本、翻译、传播史研究。

The field of Milton studies,with its long critical history,has continuously produced influential works till now and still demonstrates new potentials for interpreting.Taking a bird’s-eye view,this paper evaluates Milton studies both at home and abroad from the following five aspects:editions and translations,foreign criticism,domestic criticism,the reception history in the world and in China.It not only aims to outline the development of Milton’s critical heritage chronologically,but also attempts to cover the latest research in Chinese and global Milton studies in terms of space.Having pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of the representative works,this paper finally presents its vision for future research and calls on Chinese scholars to conduct more research on Miltonic editions,translations and reception history.
