The CPC’s Practical Explorations on Enhancing Political Immunity in the New Era

政治免疫力是中国共产党抗击政治病菌、维护肌体健康的能力,内在地蕴含了治病能力、查病能力和防病能力。中国特色社会主义进入新时代,中国共产党增强政治免疫力既是克服"四大危险"和整治"四风"的内在要求,更是实现无产阶级政党长期执政的必然要求。因此,党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央以查病为切入点,以治病为重点,以防病为落脚点,通过加强作风建设、突出讲政治以及开展"不忘初心、牢记使命"主题教育三个方面的工作来增强党的政治免疫力。

Political immunity enables the CPC to effectively fight political germs and maintain physical health, which includes the ability to cure the disease as well as check the diseasesand prevent from being sick.As socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, enhancing political immunity of the CPC is not only the internal requirement for overcoming the "four big dangers" and addressing the practice of formalities for formalities’ sake, bureaucratism, hedonism and extravagance, but also the inevitable requirement for achieving the proletarian Party’slong-term governance.Therefore, since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core has taken disease check as the entry point, disease treatment as the key point, and disease prevention as the foothold to strengthen the Party’s political immunity in the following three aspects, namely strengthening the construction of work style, highlighting politics, and carrying out the theme education of "staying true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission in mind".
