数字化服务贸易与制造业出口技术复杂度——基于贸易增加值视角

Digital Service Trade and Manufacturing Export Technology Complexity:From the Perspective of Value-added Trade

数字贸易已经成为全球发展趋势,作为其重要核心的数字化服务贸易快速发展并与各产业深度融合,影响着全球价值链重构及产业转型升级。文章探究数字化服务贸易影响制造业出口技术复杂度的内在机制及作用渠道。结果发现,数字化服务贸易显著促进了制造业出口技术复杂度的提升。渠道检验显示,数字化服务贸易通过增加研发投入、进口产品种类及服务投入提升制造业出口技术复杂度。异质性检验表明,数字化服务进口对制造业出口技术复杂度的提升效应更强,数字化服务贸易对发达国家及技术密集型制造业出口技术复杂度提升作用更大。文章研究为评估数字贸易对制造业的影响提供了理论依据,对中国数字化服务贸易发展和制造业出口技术复杂度提升提供了路径选择和政策启示。

Digital trade has become a global development trend.As the important core of digital trade,digital service trade which develops rapidly and integrates with various industries deeply affects the reconstruction of global value chain(GVC)as well as industrial transformation and upgrading.This paper explores the internal mechanism and channel of the influence of digital service trade on manufacturing export technology complexity.The results show that digital service trade significantly promotes manufacturing export technology complexity.The channel test indicates that digital service trade improves manufacturing export technology complexity through increasing R&D investment,types of imported products and service input.The heterogeneity test reveals that the promotion effect of digital service import on manufacturing export technology complexity is stronger and digital service trade plays a greater role in improving export technology complexity of the developed countries and technology-intensive manufacturing industry.This paper provides not only theoretical basis for evaluating the impact of digital trade on manufacturing industry,but also path selection and policy implications for the development of China’s digital service trade and the upgrading of manufacturing export technology complexity.
