《蒙古字韵》中“麾”小韵系的标音之“误”

On The Special Spelling Form of Hui“麾”in Menggu Ziyun(《蒙古字韵》)

《蒙古字韵》四支韵部晓母“麾”小韵系的八思巴字拼写形式,其声母采用了s声母,拼作seue。照那斯图、杨耐思《蒙古字韵校本》疑误,因为在官印中该韵的“挥”字拼作heue,声母为晓母。我们认为,《蒙古字韵》因某种原因必须要区分等第不同的“嘒”与“麾”类字,“嘒”类作晓母,“麾”类不能再作晓母。之所以拼作s声母,是因为该书编者立足蒙古语发音,读拼细音的s作S[ʃ];而从韵书编成后的接受和传播过程来看,汉语读者立足汉语,不能接受“麾”类拼作S声母,故在官印中改为h。这是蒙、汉语言接触中的一个典型例证,也是蒙、汉语言接触在韵书的编纂、接受和传播过程中的一个典型例证。

The spelling-form of Hui "麾" in Menggu Ziy un is Special because of its initial being s,that is,Hui is spelled as seue.As Junast and Yang-Naisi said,"嘒、赥" and "麾、毁、讳、洫" should be combined and spelled as heue.The reason why Hui is difference from "嘒、赦" is that these words must be divided into two categories in hP’ ags-pa Script spelling system being consistent with Chinese traditional division.The reason why Hui is spelled as seue is that the editors of Menggu Ziyun compiled this book basing himself upon Mongolia and read s as ■.On the other hand,the Chinese readers who based themselves upon Chinese cannot accept the phenominon of Initial h being spelled as s,and so they spelled it as h in seals.The phenonmenon is a very typical example of Mongolia-Chinese Language Contact.ased on Croft’ s two-step view on language change,this paper shows that the complete lexical change process should include the innovation and propagation.The motivations and mechanisms of each stage are different:the motivation in the innovation stage is rooted in the individual’s expressive needs in order to attract the others ’ attention,and the mechanism involves metonymy,metaphor,subjectivization/interaction subjectivization and borrowing,and this variables psychologically acts as a short-term memory;the motivation in the propagation stage is rooted in the social psychology of the community and the mechanism involves repeat,and this word acts as a long-term memory.
