开放大学在世界范围内的发展种类多样且各具特色,对世界典型开放大学做专题项目的研究就显得尤为重要。专业设置关乎开放大学的定位与生存,关乎区域经济社会的全面发展,关乎国家培养社会人才重点目标的实现。本文将世界开放大学中的六所典型大学作为研究对象,突出开放大学的专业设置特性,分析专业设置的依据、层次和具体内容,指出我国开放大学应明确性质定位,争取政府相关政策支持;设置特色专业应用学科,推动开放教育高质量发展;突出市场引领设置专业学科,最大化满足民众需求;学历和非学历教育并重发展,构建终身教育体系。

The development of Open University around the world is diverse and has its own characteristics, so it is particularly important to study the typical Open University of the world. The specialities are vital to the orientation and survival of the Open University, the overall development of regional economy and society, and the realization of the national key goal of cultivating social talents. In this context, six typical Open Universities are taken as the research objects, the characteristics of the specialty offering of the Open University are highlighted, the basis and specific content of the specialty offering are analyzed, then points out that the nature and orientation of the Open University of China should be clearly defined, and the relevant policy support of the government should be obtained. The characteristic applied specialty should be set up to promote the high quality development of open education;market-oriented specialties should be set up to meet the maximum needs of the public demand;and equal attention should be paid to both academic education and non-academic education to construct a longlife education system and a learning society.
