摘要
脑影像技术可以精确刻画人脑结构与功能,其个体变异决定了人类认知功能及神经精神疾病易感性的个体差异。人脑结构与功能的个体差异与遗传变异、环境暴露、遗传-遗传交互作用、环境-环境交互作用及遗传-环境交互作用有关,需要从整个基因组和暴露组广度进行系统研究。重点讨论基因组广度关联研究、暴露组广度关联研究、基因组广度遗传-遗传交互作用研究、暴露组广度环境-环境交互作用研究及基因组-暴露组广度遗传-环境交互作用研究在揭示人脑结构与功能个体差异成因中的潜在价值及其面临的挑战。
Human brain structure and function can be precisely characterized by brain imaging techniques and their inter-individual variations are associated with individual differences in cognitive abilities and susceptibility to neuropsychiatric disorders.Individual differences in human brain structure and function can be attributed to genetic variations,environmental exposures,as well as gene-gene,environment-environment and gene-environment interactions.These effects should be unbiasedly investigated from the whole genome and exposome.Here,we discuss the potential values and challenges in investigating individual differences in brain structure and function by genome-wide association,exposome-wide association,genome-wide gene-gene interaction,exposome-wide environment-environment interaction and genome-exposome-wide gene-environment interaction analyses.
