Luodatang sandstone processing system undertakes the tasks of supplying sandstone aggregates for Wunonglong and Lidi Hydropower Stations. The preliminary planning satisfies concrete placing of Lidi Hydropower Station, and the crushing capacity of the system is designed as 700 t/h.Construction commenced in December 2009 and put into operation in October 2010.Affected by the preliminary construction of each cascade hydropower station in the upper reaches of Lancang River and the changes of power grid delivery, the designer replanned the development sequence of Wunonglong and Lidi hydropower stations at the end of 2009.It is required that both power stations close simultaneously and the first unit generates power successively in the same year. After the concrete pouring strength of the two power stations is superimposed, the sandstone processing system is designed according to the concrete pouring strength of 16×10^(4)m^(3)/month during peak period, and the finished product production capacity is 1200t/h.Therefore,the original system needs to be expanded and reformed. This paper objectively analyses existing problems and countermeasures in construction and operation from the aspects of system process flow and arrangement, equipment selection, environmental protection and operation management, and summarizes the concrete measures and experiences for capacity expansion and transformation of the sand processing system.
