云南省西双版纳州某牛场一起水牛瓣胃阻塞的暴发调查

An Outbreak Investigation on Buffalo Omasum Impaction in a Farm in Xishuangbanna of Yunnan Province

2019年12月,云南省西双版纳州某牛场饲养的水牛出现了不明原因死亡。为查明死亡原因,提出防控建议,尽快控制病情,开展了暴发调查。调查发现,该牛场累计死亡65头水牛,死亡率为51.6%(65/126)。综合临床症状和病理剖检,确定水牛死亡病因为瓣胃阻塞。通过追溯调查,推测此次病情是由于饲养管理不当,饲喂过多的精料而引发的。通过暂停饲喂精料,增加青饲料配比比例,同时保证充足饮水,让牛得到适当运动,病情得到有效控制。该事件提示,应加强牛饲养管理,确保饲料配比合理。

In December 2019,the buffalo died of unclear causes in a farm in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province.In order to find out the causes,propose prevention and control measures and to control the outbreak soonest,an outbreak investigation was carried out.It was found that a total of 65 buffalo died in the farm,with a mortality rate of 51.6%(65/126).Considering clinical symptoms and pathological examination,it was confirmed that the buffalo died of omasum impaction.It was speculated that,after tracing and investigation,the outbreak was mainly caused by improper feeding management and excessive feeding with concentrate feed.Therefore,the outbreak was effectively controlled by stopping feeding with concentrate feed,increasing the proportion of green feed,supplying adequate drinking water and making the buffalo move properly.In a word,the feeding management should be strengthened to ensure a reasonable proportion of feed.
