摘要
美国现代主义诗人威廉斯将舞蹈视为连接生活和艺术必不可缺的链条。他早年的诗作《舞》和晚年的诗作《户外婚礼舞会》,均取材于16世纪尼德兰绘画大师勃鲁盖尔晚年的画作《农民舞蹈》和《婚礼舞会》。威廉斯以画家的眼光运用诗行、诗韵、诗词模拟再现勃鲁盖尔绘画作品的构图形式、韵律节奏和动感活力,同时借助声音和视觉元素呈现了农民舞者踏着音乐旋律,激情四射、无拘无束舞蹈狂欢的场景,给读者一种虽身处其外,却宛若置身其中的感受和体验。
William Carlos Williams,the American modern poet,takes dance as essential chain connecting life and art.His early poem“Dance”and late poem“The Wedding Dance in the Open Air”,which are based on late paintings Peasant Dance and The Wedding Dance by Brueghel,one of the Netherland’s greatest artist in the 16th century,attempt to re-create the composition,rhythm and energetic movement embodied in Brueghel’s works with his poetic lines,rhythm and words,and meanwhile,present the scene of exuberant peasants dance freely in the rhythms of music through sound and visual elements,giving readers a feeling and experience of being outside,but just like being inside.
