The Arctic issue involves many aspects.It has expanded from the original sovereign rights issue to a wider range of topics,such as climate,sea route,energy,ecology,and military affairs.The Arctic issue is becoming more three-dimensional and more diversified.The opportunities and challenges that the Arctic issue brings to the Arctic region and the world cannot be ignored.Although the Southeast Asia region is far away from the Arctic,it is still closely related to and greatly affected by this issue.The impact of the Arctic issue on Southeast Asia is mainly reflected in:the impact of the opening of Arctic route on Southeast Asia’s international shipping status;the ecological climate and geopolitics of Southeast Asia;the economic and trade of Southeast Asia,and so on.Under the influence of the opening of the Arctic route and the exploration of Arctic energy,the geopolitical environment in Southeast Asia will change drastically as the global geopolitical center will move north,the tense geopolitical environment in Southeast Asia will also be eased,and the depth,breadth and sustainability of cooperation between Southeast Asian countries along the South China Sea and the Straits of Malacca will continue to increase.
