“秒”的用法新探

On the Usage of“Second”

众所周知,“秒”是表示时间的量词。《现代汉语词典》(第7版)对“秒”的解释为:量计量单位名称。a)时间,60秒等于1分。b)弧或角,60秒等于1分。c)经度或纬度,60秒等于1分。由此可见,“秒”有且仅有1个词性。近年来,随着网络的不断发展,流行语层出不穷,词汇进入更新换代时期。网络用语“秒杀”的出现及流行,使得“秒”产生了新的用法,同时衍生出“秒+v”构式。本研究利用语义特征分析法并结合构式语法,分析“秒”的新用。

As we all know,“second”is a quantifier of time.Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th Edition)ex⁃plains“second”as the name of measurement unit.a)Time,60 seconds is one minute.b)Arc or angle,60 sec⁃onds equals one minute.c)Longitude or latitude,60 seconds equals one minute.It shows that“second”has one and only one part of speech.But in recent years,with the continuous development of the network,buzz⁃words have proliferated and vocabulary has been updated.The emergence and popularity of the network term“Seckill”has led to a new usage of“second”and the“second+V”construction.This paper will use semantic feature analysis and construction grammar to analyze the new use of“second”.
