A study of some words in Li Yu’s vernacular novels that are not included in dictionaries or included but not fully explained can provide reference for reading,understanding,translation and compilation and revision of relevant dictionaries.The Words in vernacular novels of Li Yu,such as"薄刀""领""肉采""窟豚""龌龊""备卷""对科""夹袋""僧僚""情焰""肾管""週鞋"can be roughly divided into three categories:dialect words,common words and new words.
