Third domain:How do informal and formal institutions promote green production?

文中基于制度组态视角,运用模糊集定性比较分析方法(fsQCA)探讨了非正式制度与正式制度影响农户绿色生产技术采纳程度的多重并发因素和作用机制。研究结果表明:1)高采纳程度的影响路径可以分为社会风气引导、非正式制度激励和非正式制度约束3种模式。2)非正式制度在影响采纳程度时具有重要作用,影响作用甚至超过了正式制度,但单一的非正式制度难以发挥作用,需要辅以正式制度的引导和支持。3)正式制度中的激励规制和约束规制可以互相替代。4)农户对绿色生产技术的低采纳程度和高采纳程度均为3条路径,但二者的驱动机制存在非对称关系。因此,在制定政策时,要重视正式制度和非正式制度的双重力量,同时,要摒弃非此即彼的简单线性思维,从组态视角识别出促进或抑制绿色生产的多重路径。

The fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis method(fsQCA)was used in the research to explore the multiple simultaneous factors and mechanism of the informal and formal institutions to the farmers’adoption of the green production technologies.The results of the research show that:1)The configuration with a higher degree of adoption can be divided into three kinds:social climates guided mode,formal institution geared mode,informal institution geared mode.2)Informal institutions have greater impact on affecting the farmers’adoption of the green production technologies than the formal ones.However,it is difficult for a single informal system to play its role,which needs the guidance and support of formal system.3)Incentive regulation and restraint regulation in the formal system can replace each other.4)There are three configurations both for low adoption and high adoption of green production for farmers,but there is an asymmetric relationship in their driving mechanisms.Therefore,when formulating policies,we should pay more attention to the uncertainty of the interaction between informal institutions and formal institutions.It is necessary to abandon the simple linear thinking and identify multiple paths to promote or inhibit green production from a configuration perspective.
