Professor Liu Xiaofan’s Experience in Treating Children’s Night Cry with Shengjiang Powder

刘小凡教授长期从事小儿疾病研究,对小儿夜啼的中医认识和治疗具有较为独特之处。刘教授认为小儿夜啼的发生发展与心、肝两脏积热,阴阳失衡密切相关,而不独为心经病变。本文初步总结了刘小凡教授采用调和阴阳,疏风清热,平肝宁心和安神定惊之法,灵活运用取类比象思维,选取杨栗山《伤寒瘟疫条辨》中升降散化裁治疗小儿夜啼临床经验,并附医案1则。

Professor Liu Xiaofan has been engaged in the research of childre n’s diseases for a long time,and has a unique understanding and treatment of children’s night cry in traditional Chinese medicine.Professor Liu believes that the occurrence and development of children’s night cry is closely related to the accumulation of Heat in the Heart and Liver and the imbalance of Yin and Yang,not only the Heart meridian disease.This paper preliminally summarizes Professor Liu Xiaofan’s clinical experience in treating children’s night cry by using the methods of harmonizing Yin and Yang,clearing Wind and Heat,calming Liver and calming mind and tranquilizing mind,and flexibly applying the Shengjiang Powder and chemical treatment in Yang Lishan’s book Shanghan Wenyi Tiaobian.One medical case is attached.
