方朝晖从温补肾阳论治甲状腺功能减退症的临床经验

Fang Zhaohui’s Clinical Experience in Treating Hypothyroidism from Warm and Nourish Shen Yang

中医根据甲状腺功能减退症的临床表现,将其归属于“虚劳”“水肿”“瘿病”等范畴。方朝晖教授认为甲状腺与肾通过经络相连,甲状腺激素与中医的肾精密切相关,其功效与肾精中之阳精相似,发挥温煦、运动、振奋等作用。“精气夺则虚”,甲状腺功能减退症可能因肾阳虚所致甲状腺先天发育不良,或引起甲状腺后天生理功能的衰退而发病。“虚者补之”“寒者热之”,方朝晖教授针对甲状腺功能减退症肾阳虚的病机每多采用温补肾阳的法则,常选金匮肾气丸加减治疗,改善临床病症。

According to the clinical manifestations,hypothyroidism belongs to the categories of“Xulao”“Shuizhong”and“Yingbing”.Professor Fang Zhaohui believes that the thyroid gland and the Kidney are connected through the meridian,and the thyroid hormone is closely related to the Kidney Essence of Chinese medicine.The feffect of thyroid hormone is similar to Yang Essence of the Kidney Essence,it can play the role of warmth,exercise,and excitement.“When the Essence and Qi is reduced,the body appears weak”.Hypothyroidism may be caused by congenital thyroid dysplasia by Kidney Yang deficiency,or the decline of the acquired physiological function of the thyroid.“The weak ones,nourish them”and“the cold ones,warm them”,so the treatment of hypothyroidism is to warm and nourish the Kidney Yang.Professor Fang Zhaohui often chooses Jingui Shenqi pill for hypothyroidismto improve the clinical symptoms.This treatment principle is due to the pathogenesisof Kidney Yang deficiency.
