Estrogen receptors are highly expressed in cardiovascular tissues and endothelial cells.The combination of es⁃trogen and corresponding estrogen cell receptors can regulate angiogenesis.The angiogenesis process is the basic patho⁃logical manifestation of many diseases.The angiogenesis process involves a large number of endothelial cells,migration and proliferation behavior.Angiogenesis is closely related to the development of the body and the occurrence of many dis⁃eases.Studies have shown that estrogen receptors and other signaling molecules regulate the process of angiogenesis,and estrogen receptors can be used as key targets for drugs.This article will focus on how estrogen receptors regulate angio⁃genesis in many diseases,and provide references for the treatment of some diseases.
