高质量发展视角下的健康资本与经济增长:重要性与必要性

Health capital and economic growth in the perspective of high-quality development:importance and necessity

经济高质量发展背景下,传统要素驱动的增长模式亟待转型,人力资本对提升经济发展质量与缩小区域发展差距具有关键作用。从人力资本研究中普遍忽略的健康资本着手,使用多种宏微观数据集构建2002—2017年我国31个省份各生产投入要素的面板数据,应用Cobb-Douglas与Translog生产函数,从经济增长贡献、资本转化关系及投入产出效率三方面考察其对我国经济增长的作用,论证健康资本对我国经济发展的重要性与必要性。研究发现,健康资本对我国经济增长具有显著的正向影响,改善劳动力及教育资本的边际产出,与其他生产投入要素相比,健康资本可替代性较低,加大其投入力度有利于改善我国经济生产非效率环境。

In the context of high-quality economic development,the traditional factor-driven growth mode needs to be transformed.Human capital plays a key role in improving the quality of economic development and narrowing the regional development gap.Starting with the health capital generally ignored in the research on human capital,the paper constructs the panel data of production input factors in 31 provinces of China from 2002 to 2017 with a variety of macro and micro data sets,uses Cobb-Douglas and Translog production functions to investigate its role in China’s economic growth from three aspects of contribution to economic growth,capital transformation relationship and input-output efficiency,and demonstrates the importance and necessity of health capital in economic development in China.The study finds that health capital has a significant positive impact on China’s economic growth,and improves the marginal output of labor and education capital.Compared with other production input factors,health capital has the low replaceability,and increasing its input is conducive to improving the inefficient environment of China’s economic production.
