With the prosperity of the performance, the stage costume art also gains its own development. On the one hand, the works with new ideas and new skills come to the fore;on the other hand, the deficiencies of functional value, expression techniques and creative ideas appear due to the unscientific interpretation of innovation. Nowadays, three aspects as "theatre", "category", and "aesthetic", have become new cognitional elements in various creations of costume, and inherited its fundamental nature. Only by respecting the principles of costume function can we preserve its basic function value when we apply new ideas, new techniques and new materials. In this case, we can find the way to suit our expressions and creative ideas to stage innovations, to create images as our own generation under new cognitional principles, and to serve the current theatre stage.
