Georgia, a country between Eastern Europe and Western Asia, makes a perfect crucible for great civilizations. Influences of different cultures in the history provide Georgian theatre with abundant and diversified resources. This article tries to examine one production of The Mad Man’s Diary and its internationally acclaimed theatre director, Levan Tsuladze, in hope of providing a segment of the amazing history and the lively present of the country’s theatre.
