China has a vast territory,complex geographical conditions,changeable weather conditions,frequent floods and droughts,which have caused serious property losses and adverse effects on people's travel and other leisure and entertainment activities.The use of modern scientific and technological means for artificial rainfall and other operations can effectively improve the meteorological situation.This paper briefly expounds the concept of weather modification,analyzes its impact on meteorological elements and weather forecast,strengthens the prevention of natural disasters in China,improves the scientificity of weather prediction,and promotes the development of tourism industry in some regions.
