Objective To analyze the status and characteristics and influencing factors of statins in elderly patients with chronic heart disease(CHD).Methods There were 2301 elderly CHD patients as study subjects. The clinical data of patients was collected and analyzed, and the use, characteristics and influencing factors of statins were statistically analyzed. Results Among 2301 elderly CHD patients,1325 cases(57.58%)used statins;among them, atorvastatin had the highest usage rate, accounting for 22.16%;followed by rosuvastatin, accounting for 20.17%;the lowest usage rate was lovast statins, accounting for 1.22%.Education level, monthly income, course of disease, combined ischemic stroke, percutaneous coronary transluminal angioplasty and coronary artery bypass grafting were the influencing factors that affect the use of statins(P<0.05).Logistic analysis showed that education level, monthly income, course of disease, combined ischemic stroke, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty and coronary artery bypass grafting were the influencing factors for the use of statins(P<0.05).Conclusion The usage rate of statins in elderly CHD patients is low,and most of them use atorvastatin.Education level, monthly income, course of disease, combined ischemic stroke, percutaneous coronary transluminal angioplasty and coronary artery bypass grafting are the influencing factors that affect the use of statins.
