Professor WANG Xingkuan′s Experience for Treatment of Constraint Syndrome

介绍王行宽教授治疗郁证的经验。认为肝胆失疏、痰热内扰、气阴不足是郁证的常见病因;肝胆失于疏泄、气机郁滞不通,痰热内扰心神、神魂失于宁谧,气阴不足、心肺失于濡养是郁证的重要病机。倡导"杂病治肝"的学术观点,治法以疏肝利胆、清化痰热、益气养阴安神为主,并针对病机选用柴芩温胆汤、百合安神汤治疗郁证。

The paper introduces professor WANG Xingkuan′s experience in treating constraint syndrome. He believes that liver and gallbladder failing to govern qi flow, phlegm-heat harassing the interior, and insufficient qi and yin are the common causes of constraint syndrome. Liver and gallbladder govern the free flow of qi, therefore the dysfunction of these two organs leads to the constraint and stagnation of the qi;as phlegm-heat harasses the interior and heart spirit, the soul confronts with restlessness;when qi and yin are insufficient, there is lack of moisture and nou-rishment for heart and lung, all of which mentioned above explain the pathogenic mechanism of constraint syndrome. In terms of therapeutic methods, he puts forward the theory that "to treat liver for miscellaneous diseases", and advises to soothe the liver and promote gallbladder function, to clear heat and dissolve phlegm, and to boost qi, nourish yin, and calm the mind. Besides, Chaiqin Wendan Decoction(柴芩温胆汤) and Baihe Anshen Decoction(百合安神汤) are recommended.
