民国时期国内涉侨报刊分类述评

An Overview and Collation of the Republican Press on Overseas Chinese

论文对民国时期国内涉侨报刊进行了分类并分析了其研究价值。民国时期涉侨报刊主要分为政府部门涉侨报刊、涉侨组织与社团报刊、涉侨学校报刊以及侨刊乡讯等四类;一些规模较大的时政类和综合性报刊,也常开辟有涉侨栏目,发表有关华侨的政策、新闻、时评、经济、文艺、研究等类信息。以上报刊中的涉侨信息具有较高的史料研究价值:其一,政府部门涉侨报刊发布的涉侨政策法规、重要人物的评论以及重大事件的评述,代表官方立场,具有一定的权威性。其二,涉侨组织与社团报刊、侨校报刊、侨刊乡讯作为民间涉侨文献的主要来源,数量丰富、类型多样,且富含正史中鲜有的记述,特别是对一些机构、人物、事件的详细记载以及相关的照片、题字资料尤显珍稀,是对官方文献的一项重要补充。其三,设有涉侨栏目的报刊可为相关研究提供多种渠道的信息参考。

During the Republican period,various kinds of newspapers and periodicals related to overseas Chinese were published by Chinese government departments,overseas Chinese community organizations including schools,and even the hometowns and villages of some overseas Chinese.Other than that,prominent Chinese newspapers and periodicals distributed nationwide also often devoted special columns to overseas Chinese affairs.This paper classifies the Republican press information about the Chinese overseas into three main categories:1.government policy and legislation as well as Chinese official stances concerning significant events and personnel;2.narratives including photographs and mementos supplementary to official records;3.other references.This categorization may help researchers find more of the historical value that remains in the Chinese press during the Republic era.
