甲午前后的长沙--以吴大澂致汪鸣銮信札为依据的考察

Changsha Around 1894--A Study Based on the Wu Dacheng's letters to Wang Mingluan

故宫博物院藏有吴大澂在长沙任职期间致其表弟汪鸣銮的信札9通,内容涉及吴大澂向京城赠送例贡,北上作战失利后回任湘抚等。这些信札,对研究甲午前后长沙的社会情形,有一定价值;对了解吴大澂在甲午战争前后的心理变化,也具有重要意义。

The Palace Museum has a collection of 9 letters from Wu Dacheng,governor of Hunan Province,to his cousin Wang Mingluan. The contents of these letters are Wu Dacheng’s administration in Hunan,such as presenting gifts to officials in the capital,leading troops to north to fight against Japan,returning to Hunan after losing,etc. These letters have the reference value to study the social situation of Changsha around 1894. At the same time,these letters are also of great significance for understanding Wu Dacheng’s psychological changes around the Sino-Japanese war of 1894-1895.
