英语教师听力和口语现状研究——基于全国外经贸行指委英语教师口语能力大赛的分析

摘要 通过对参加英语教师口语能力大赛的52名英语教师的听力和口语竞赛成绩进行研究,指出英语教师听力和口语能力的现状。研究结果表明,英语教师听说能力存在发展不均衡的现象:听力理解能力现状整体不容乐观,口语竞赛整体成绩较听力高但部分教师在口语竞赛的环节表现不尽如人意,分析出现这种状况的原因并提出旨在提高英语教师听说基本功的建议。 Through analyzing the listening grades and speaking grades of 52 English teachers participating in the oral English com⁃petition,the paper presents the present status of English teachers’listening and speaking abilities.The results clearly demonstrate that the development of English teachers'listening and speaking abilities is unbalanced,and the present situation of listening com⁃prehension ability is not optimistic as a whole.Despite the fact that the overall performance of the speaking competition is higher than that of the listening ability,some teachers'performance in the speaking competition is not satisfactory.The paper then attempts to analyze the potential causes for this situation and proposes some suggestions of improving basic listening and speaking abilities of English teachers.
