"High Quality and Great Beauty":The Hardcore of Taizhou Culture

台州文化作为浙东中部负山表海的地域文化,已形成以天台山文化为核心的名山文化、以章安港和海门港为核心的名港文化、以台州府城为核心的名城文化等文化形态。贯穿上述文化形态,台州文化的硬核特质体现在三个方面:从文化质素的构成特征考察,可谓三教和合而释道更显、儒学稍逊;从文化主体的性格特征考察,可谓大小传统共生而硬气贯穿;从文化通变的显著特征考察,可谓地域性、开放性并存而开放性走强。

Taizhou culture,as a regional culture in the middle of eastern Zhejiang Province,has formed famous mountain culture with Tiantai Mountain culture as the core,famous dock culture with Zhang'an dock and Haimen dock as the core,and famous city culture with Taizhou Fucheng as the core.Throughout the above-mentioned cultural forms,the hardcore of Taizhou culture are reflected in three aspects:from the composition of cultural quality,the three religions are in harmoniousness,while Buddhism and Taoism is more obvious and Confucianism is slightly inferior;from the personality of cultural subject,the great and little traditions coexist and the upright character runs through;from the significant characteristics of cultural change,the regionality and openness coexists,while the openness becomes stronger.
