Based on the concept of quality education,in senior middle school physics teaching,teachers can improve students'abstract thinking ability,guide students to understand the essence of physics,and increase their ability of scientific inquiry and solving practical problems by constructing interesting and practical physics teaching activities.This paper analyzes the necessity of cultivating students'abstract thinking ability in senior middle school physics teaching,the current situation of senior middle school physics teaching,and explores the strategies to improve students'abstract thinking ability.
