Interpretation and Contemporary Value of Marx’s Commodity Fetishism:A Literature Review

商品拜物教是马克思揭示资本主义基本规律和内在逻辑的一个重要范畴,是理解无产阶级价值学说和资产阶级价值学说本质差异的关键理论之一。马克思商品拜物教概念具有清晰的演进历程,对商品拜物教的意涵解读及辩证法的探讨始终是学界的研究热点:以齐泽克的意识形态论和鲍德里亚的能指拜物教为代表的诸多新理论试图对其进行理论延展创新,它们虽仍在马克思所揭示的问题阈中,实质上更多是对马克思商品拜物教理论的误解与背离。文章认为,马克思商品拜物教理论在当代中国社会具有重要价值:社会主义市场经济存在商品拜物教,消费主义盛行、拜金主义泛滥和贪污腐败频发等现象是商品拜物教产生的不良影响,新发展阶段更要重视对商品拜物教进行批判研究。

Commodity fetishism is an important category in which Marx reveals the basic laws and internal logic of capitalism,and it is one of the key theories to understand the essential difference between proletarian value theory and bourgeois value theory.The authors summarize the literature on the interpretation and contemporary value of Marx’s commodity fetishism.It is found that the concept of Marx’s commodity fetishism has a clear evolution process.The interpretation of the meaning of commodity fetishism and the discussion of dialectics have always been the hotspots of academic circles.The new theory,represented by Zizek’s theory of ideology and Baudrillard’s signifier fetishism,attempts to make theoretical extension innovations.However,they do not go beyond the threshold of questions revealed by Marx,and in fact there are more misunderstandings and deviations from Marx’s theory of commodity fetishism.Now,Marx’s commodity fetishism has great value.The socialist market economy has commodity fetishism.The prevalence of consumerism,the proliferation of money worship,and the frequent occurrence of corruption are the adverse effects of commodity fetishism.In New Era,we need to pay more attention to critique of commodity fetishism.
