摘要
A special issue on the developing strategies of soil science in the 14th Five-Year Plan of China has been published in 5th issue of Acta Pedologica Sinica,a Chinese soil science journal indexed in Scopus,in 2020.Nine papers were included in the special ssue,involving the strategic thinking for the development of soil science in China in the new era,as well as the progress and perspectives of the sub-disciplines of the formation and evolution of pedosphere,soil physics,soil chemistry,soil biology,soil erosion and conservation,soil fertility,soil nutrient cycling,soil pollution and remediation,and soil quality and food safety.The publication of this special issue will help pursue the great-leap-forward development of soil science in China in the future.(By Renkou XU and Deming CHEN,Institute of Soil Science.Chinese Academy of Sciences,Nanjing 210008,China).
