Specialized,Diversified Industrial Agglomeration and Regional Energy Efficiency

我国经济步入新常态,专业化、多样化产业集聚的经济特征以及能源供需矛盾凸显,研究专业化和多样化集聚与区域能源效率的关系有着理论意义和现实意义。使用2008-2017年30个省份面板数据进行随机效应Tobit模型的计量分析,并进一步检验理论机制,探讨两种产业集聚模式影响区域能源效率的差异。研究结果表明:专业化产业集聚不利于能源效率的提高,存在显著的技术溢出效应和拥挤效应;多样化产业集聚与能源效率呈现U型,存在显著的规模效应和要素替代效应,技术溢出效应不显著,可能存在磨合期的交流成本。最后根据结论,提出针对性建议。

The economy in China has entered a new normal.The economic feature of specialized and diversified industrial agglomeration and the contradiction between energy supply and demand are prominent.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the relationship between specialized agglomeration,diversified agglomeration and regional energy efficiency.The panel data of 30 provinces from 2008 to 2017 are used for Econometric Analysis of Tobit model,and the theoretical mechanism is further tested,in order to explore the differences of regional energy efficiency between the two industrial agglomeration models.The results show that specialized industrial agglomeration is not conducive to the improvement of energy efficiency,and there are striking effects of technology spillover and crowding.The impact of diversified industrial agglomeration on energy efficiency is U-shaped,with significant scale effect and factor substitution effect.The effect of technology spillover is not obvious,and there may be communication cost in the run-in period.Finally,some pieces of advice are given based on the above findings.
