English graded reading should not only be regarded as a home teaching method.It should be introduced into the classroom teaching of junior middle schools and implemented by first-line teachers.Graded English reading helps students to improve their reading literacy step by step in the way they are interested in,and it is convenient for teachers to carry out hierarchical English teaching according to students’acceptance level,psychological expectation and interest in different learning stages.Education policy makers,first-line teachers and teaching materials publishers should explore the concept of graded reading and integrate it into the English teachings of junior high schools.
