超学科视野、互补性综观和理论语言学出路数问——从韩礼德有关论述看语言学学科发展 被引量:2

Transdisciplinarity,Complementarity and Questions for Advancing Theoretical Linguistics:The Hallidayan Perspective

摘要 超学科是一种方法论性质的元视野,研究过程和结果表现为各种对立甚至冲突的互补性,而这正是当今理论语言学的出路。本文从韩礼德全面思考语言研究的综合性立场、建构系统功能语言学采用的具体方法两个角度,概述他在诸多论著中采用的超学科视野思路,集中体现在互补性、概率和所指不明确等量子力学核心思想上,并通过一系列问题来引发读者思考语言学学科的开拓创新之路。 Transdisciplinarity is a meta-study with methodological nature,under which the research process and finding/result presentations appear to be various types of contrasting or even contradictory complementarity;and this is just the way for current linguistic exploration to break through.To be specific,the paper presents a survey of Halliday’s perspective on transdisciplinarity approach to advancing linguistic investigation.It begins with the conception of‘transdisciplinarity’Halliday puts forward.Then it discusses two main issues:(i)his complementary view of alternative branches of language study for developing theoretical linguistics as a whole and(ii)the transdisciplinary practice he undertook for setting up the Systemic Functional Linguistics model.The paper finally raises questions for further thinking.The above process is highlighted with fundamental ideas applied from Quantum Mechanics,aiming at opening up a new horizon for language study.
