哈默修依是19世纪末20世纪初丹麦重要的绘画艺术家。哈默修依所处的时代充满变革,艺术革命风起云涌,而他没有追逐潮流,在继承传统的基础上遵从自己的内心,走出了一条独特的艺术道路。哈默修依敏感、沉静、羞涩,很少公开发表关于绘画的言论,且去世前焚毁了大部分书信和文字资料,使得我们只能通过作品解读他内心静谧的世界。

Hammershoi was an important Danish painting artist at the end of 19th century and early 20th century.His era was full of changes,and the art revolution was surging.However,Hammershoi did not pursue the trend,but followed his own heart on the basis of inheriting the tradition,and walked out of a unique art road.Because of the painter's sensitive,quiet and shy personality,he seldom publishes his opinions about painting.Before his death,the painter burned most of his letters and written materials,so we can only interpret his inner quiet world through his works.
