Influence of Different Physical Properties of Tailings on Thickening Performance

摘要 为研究尾砂物理性质对尾砂浓密性能的影响,对10个典型矿山尾砂的中值粒径、限制粒径、平均粒径和密度进行了测定,并对这10个矿山的尾砂分别进行了絮凝沉降试验。试验结果表明:砂浆的底流浓度和最佳的絮凝剂用量与尾砂密度无关,但与尾砂粒径有关,尾砂粒径越细,底流浓度就越低,沉降试验所需絮凝剂用量就越多;进一步回归分析得到了尾砂中值粒径与底流浓度的关系方程、尾砂限制粒径与浓度改变量的关系方程。研究成果在山东某金矿的现场应用表明,预测值与试验值误差不超过3%,证明本次推导的关系方程方便可行,具有一定的推广应用价值。 In order to study the influence of physical properties of tailings on the thickening performance,the median particle size,limited particle size,average particle size and density of tailings from 10 typical mines were measured,and the flocculation sedimentation tests of tailings from these 10 mines were carried out.The test results show that the underflow concentration and the optimal flocculant dosage of mortar have nothing to do with the density of tailings,but are concerned with the particle size of tailings.The finer the particle size of tailings is,the lower the underflow concentration is,and the more flocculant dosage is needed for settlement tests.The relationship between the median particle size of tailings and the underflow concentration,as well as the relationship between the limited particle size of tailings and the concentration change were obtained by further regression analysis.The field application of the research results in a gold mine in Shandong Province shows that the error between the predicted value and the experimental value is not more than 3%,which proves that the derived relationship equation is convenient and feasible,and has a certain application value.
