Four Generations of Wu Lu Scholarly Works and Cultural Relics Find a Permanent Home at Fung Ping Shan Library,University of Hong Kong Libraries

香港大学冯平山图书馆开馆近九十年,得各界人士慷慨支持及捐赠才有今日面貌。近年冯馆收到的重要捐赠,当推吴紫栋先生于2013年捐送曾祖吴鲁(1845—1912)状元四代家学文物。本文记述捐赠源起﹑经过﹑冯馆为吴氏家珍举办的展览及吴先生捐赠家学文物的本意。

For nearly 90 years Fung Ping Shan Library of the University of Hong Kong Libraries has been receiving generous support and donations from the public.A notable donation in recent years is Wu Lu(1845-1912)family treasures of four generations donated to the Fung Ping Shan Library by Wu Zidong,Wu Lu’s grandson,in 2013.This article records the origin and story of the donation,the exhibition held in honor of the Wu family treasures and the major aims of the donation.
