数字人文研究又一例:海外华人媒体的个案分析

Digital Humanities in Perspectives:Overseas Chinese Media Studies Abstract

数字人文的研究是近二三十年来随着人文学科各类数字化资源的开发和应用而出现的新兴研究领域。数字人文研究的概念和方法已被引入人类学研究多年,并在具体研究项目中取得了成果。跨越一定时空范围的海外华人媒体研究,具有数字化资源的丰富性及多样性的特性,是采用数字人文研究的理想对象。通过相关资料文本的词频分析等方法,可探讨海外华人媒体研究所能揭示的规律性内容。

Adaptation of Digital Humanities(DH)approaches in many research fields of humanities have been developed for decades.The current research will concentrate on the DH approaches on the study of Chinese language media in Chinese Canadian communities.Abundant research materials especially those digitized resources provide ideal data for DH studies.The frequency of keyword co-occurrence analysis of Austronesian archaeological literature and text analysis of Chinese newspapers in Canada also shed the light on the big picture of socio-cultural changes of Chinese immigrants in Canada.
