Techniques for Purple Garlic Cultivation with Mulching of Plastic Film in Caijiapo

陕西宝鸡蔡家坡盛产的紫皮大蒜在全国自古有名,在关中西部地区具有悠久的栽培历史,因其品种早熟、色泽红艳、蒜汁浓粘,味道鲜美,香辣适口、蒜头大、产量高,一直被作为原种调用,每年供不应求。大蒜地膜栽培具有提温保墒防草等作用,能极大提高其商品率和经济效益。从地膜覆盖的优点、整地作畦、播种方法、生长期管理及收获五个方面总结出蔡家坡紫皮大蒜地膜覆盖栽培关键技术,供生产参考。

Purple garlic produced in Caijiapo of Baoji in Shaanxi Province is famous in China since the ancient times,which has long history of cultivation in western Guanzhong area.Because of its early maturity,red color,thick and sticky garlic juice,delicious taste,pungent and palatable in taste,large garlic head and high yield,it has been used as the original seeds,so it is in short supply every year.Garlic cultivatio with mulching of plastic film can increase temperature,preserve moisture and prevent from weeds,the commodity rate and economic benefits can be increased.In this paper,the key cultivation techniques for purple garlic in Caijiapo were summarized in the aspects of the advantages of plastic film mulching,soil preparation,sowing method,growth period management and harvest,etc.
