In this paper, clinical experiences of Professor Wang Juan in treating nodular acne with the Chaixia Xiaocuo presciption(柴夏消痤方) were introduced. Acne is a commonly chronic, repetitive and disfigured skin disease in the clinic, which affects the physical and mental health of modern people seriously. Professor Wang Juan treated nodular acne caused by the heat from liver depression with the Chaixia Xiaocuo prescription in the clinic from the perspective of liver depression theory, and gained good effects. Now the experience was summarized as follows for more referrence.
