The paper summarizes the application conditions of BIM in building construction process and project design and management process including horizontal layout and modeling,construction project quality management,safety quality management,cost and construction schedule management as well.It mainly analyzes and discusses the technological application of BIM technology in the whole project A process,and finally studies modeling method,collision detection,cost control,construction schedule control and construction completion check,with a view to provide some guidance for BIM technology development.
