A Study on “Eastern Economic Forum” and Russian Foreign Policy in Northeast Asia

俄罗斯“东方经济论坛”自2015年开办以来已经成功举办了五届,它既是俄罗斯要开发远东地区的具体措施,也是俄罗斯重视同东北亚各国联系的表现,以配合其更加多元化的东北亚外交政策与亚太战略。而各个参与“东方经济论坛”国家的不同经济和政治诉求,也会影响到俄罗斯东北亚外交政策的主要目标的实现。同时俄罗斯也希望通过加强同东北亚地区国家间的合作来抵御美国印太战略的负面影响,以上因素均决定了俄罗斯未来的东北亚外交政策走向。

“The Eastern Economic Forum”has been successfully held for five sessions in Russia since its inception in 2015.The forum is viewed as a concrete measure for Russia to develop the Far East,and a manifestation of Russia’s emphasis on its connection with the countries in Northeast Asia.The forum conforms to Russia’more diversified Northeast Asia foreign policy and Asia Pacific strategy.The different economic and political demands of the countries participating in the“Eastern Economic Forum”will also affect the realization of the main goal of Russia's foreign policy in Northeast Asia.At the same time,Russia also hopes to resist the negative impact of the US Indo-Pacific strategy by strengthening cooperation with countries in Northeast Asia.All the factors above will determine the future direction of Russia’s foreign policy in Northeast Asia.
